Subject / Artist: Depicting yellow and muted red flowers, silver metal tableware (jug, plate, bowl and vase), and blue beads. On a brown surface with brown and green background. Brushstrokes are mostly smooth with minimal texture other than the canvas board. Beautiful colours and atmosphere. Signed Stan Butler.
Art Style: Mid-century impressionist, rustic, romantic.

Frame Details: Plastic coated composite wooden(?) frame, white with gold colour inner edges, and beige linen texture to mid surfaces. No glass. Tabbed and taped rear frame edges. Metal rings with new cord for hanging. Old framer's label on back. Other defaced part label on back.

External size, including frame, approx 19 1/4 x 12 4/10 x 3/4 inches, 49cm x 31.5cm x 2cm.
Size of visible painting only (the front of frame aperture) approx 16 1/4 x 9 1/2 inches, 41.2cm x 24cm.
Horizontal.

Condition: The painting has a few fine scuff marks, lines and dull spots but is otherwise very good. Wear and small marks to frame edges and rear board but nothing unusual, but frame very good on the whole. A beautiful painting!
