Vintage Yardley London Powder Box, Gold Bee and Flower Top, Honey Glow, c 1950s, Dia 7.9cm

Original vintage 1950s face powder/box. 'Complexion Powder Honey Glow' by Yardley of London.

Circular box made of cardboard with plastic petal shapes on the top. Central raised bee motif to middle of top, with off-white moulded petal shapes around it. Printed colour droplet shapes and lettering on the side of the top on an off-white background.
The box is full of the original face powder and sealed across the powder with plastic film which has the Yardley name on it. Product label with names on the bottom of the box.

Max external height 3.8cm, 1 1/2 inches.
Diameter across base of box 7.9cm, 3 1/10 inches.

Condition: The box is structurally sound and intact. Some general age related discolouration, to varying degrees. Some wear and rub marks to the gold bee.
