Vintage Scotland Shot Glasses Set (6) with Metal Tray, c 1960s, Boxed
Circa 1960s set of 6 shot glasses with small silver colour metal tray, with original presentation box.
Clear glass with gold colour top rim, and a colour transfer illustration to front of each glass depicting: Burn's Cottage, Forth Bridge, Blacksmith's Shop in Gretna Green, Edinburgh Castle, Loch Lomond and Scott Monument in Edinburgh.
Circular shape top to glasses with sides gently curving inwards to the base (like an egg cup shape). Marked 'France' underneath the glasses.
The tray is made of thin silver colour metal, rectangular shape with rounded corners, moulded and shaped patterns to edges, and a finely textured design the the centre depicting a bagpipe player, thistles and heather, and the name 'Scotland' in a cartouche.
Card box with tartan pattern to exterior top and sides.

Height of shot glasses approx 2 1/4 inches, 5.6cm.
Tray is about 8 x 6 1/10 inches, 20.5cm x 15.5cm at max.
Condition: Some wear to the gold rims on the glasses. Otherwise the glasses are very good to excellent with slight variance to the density of the lettering on the glasses. Tray has light scuffs and small marks on the top, and a few small tarnish marks on the underneath. The box has general scuffs, marks and edge wear but nothing unusual.
