Circa 1980s print edition and frame, of a 19th century artwork.
Small colour lithographic print, mounted and framed. Ready to hang.
The print colours are tonal brown and white, with a hint of pink, similar to sepia colour.
A farm stable scene with sheep standing and lying, and a couple of chickens at a trough. Traditional fine art style with a gentle atmospheric quality. A lovely picture.
Label on back of frame states 'A Stable Interior by Eugene Joseph Verboeckhoven (1798-1881)'. Belgian artist, acclaimed for his animal portraits.
Frame Details:
Double board overlay mounts: Slate green top mount, and grey inner edge mount. Chunky moulded wooden frame edges, light to mid brown with natural grain, knots and markings. Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal tab for hanging. Some of the rear fittings are newer.

External size, including frame, approx 9 3/4 x 8 1/2 x 1 4/10 inches, 24.8cm x 21.6cm x 3.5cm.
Size of visible artwork only (the mount aperture size) approx 5 5/8 x 3 5/8 inches, 14.3cm x 9cm. Horizontal.
Condition Notes:
Print excellent. Frame edges have a few small scuffs, nicks and a light patina in parts. Rest of frame excellent.
