Painting from circa mid 20th century. Frame is later, probably 1970s-80s.
Original watercolour painting on paper, mounted and framed. Ready to hang.

An urban street scene. The street appears to be on an incline with steps. Tall, old buildings with washing lines high up above the street. People walking around and a couple on a small window balcony. The scene has a Mediterranean feel about it. Muted colours, mostly blues and browns and some green. Artist unknown. Unsigned.
Art Style: Impressionist, old fashioned, quaint urban.

Frame Details:
Grey board overlay mount. Simple wooden frame in rich, warm, dark brown. Glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges and metal fixing for hanging (these are newer).

Size:
External size, including frame, approx 9 3/4 x 7 3/4 inches, 24.7cm x 19.7cm. Size of visible painting only (the mount aperture), approx 6 8/10 x 4 7/8 inches, 17.4cm x 12.3cm. Upright.

Condition Notes:
Painting excellent. Slight wear/marks to frame edges. Rest of frame excellent.
