Age of Item: Early 20th century print edition and frame, of an 18th century artwork.
Item Type: Colour lithographic print, mounted and framed. Ready to hang.

Subject / Artist: From the famous Cries of London series of the late 1700s. Named 'Two Bunches a Penny Primroses, Two Bunches a Penny', depicting a street scene with a lady flower seller, two children and a dog. Another person to background. By artist Francis Wheatley. Small off-white border with title and credits to bottom border (the very edges of writing cropped-into by the mount). Muted subtle colours.
Art Style: Georgian life, observational portraiture, fine, traditional, social history.

Frame Details: Cream textured thin card overlay mount with printed border line around aperture. Moulded wooden frame, black with muted old gold colour beading to edges. Glass to front. Wood panel back on frame. Tabbed and taped rear edges and metal eyes with cord for hanging (these are newer).

External size, including frame, approx 14 x 11 1/4 inches, 35.5cm x 28.5cm.
Size of visible print and white borders/title (the mount aperture) approx 8 4/10 x 6 2/10 inches, 21.4cm x 15.7cm. Upright.

Condition: Print very good overall with a few tiny marks. Edge words cropped-into by the mount. Cream mount has some discolouration and slight wear to the printed lines. Frame corners have small chips to the beading. Frame edges have slight general wear, and some small abrasions, nicks and marks to external sides. A few small scuffs to glass. Frame back excellent.
