Antique St Briavell's Castle Gloucestershire Small Engraving Art Print, Framed, frame marks/wear

Print from the 1800s. Frame circa mid 20th century.
Antique small tonal black and white print from an engraving. Mounted and framed (vintage). Ready to hang. See condition notes.

Exterior of a castle. A few people, and cattle drinking from the moat. Lovely picture! Fine border line. Integral off-white border with title to bottom border 'St. Briavell's Castle Gloucestershire' and artist and engraver names F. Stockdale and W. Woolnoth. Label on back of frame states 'Published by J & F Tallis, London, c. 1840-1850'.
Art Style: Fine, traditional, historical, architectural.

Frame Details: Muted dusky green board overlay mount. Moulded wooden frame, black and gold colour finish with fine gold colour beading to front. Glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal tab for hanging. The rear fittings are newer.

External size, including frame, approx 10 1/2 x 7 8/10 inches, 26.7cm x 19.8cm.
Size of visible print only including the white borders/title (the mount aperture size) approx 6 3/10 x 4 4/10 inches, 16cm x 11.2cm.
Orientation: Horizontal.

Condition: Print has a few small foxing spots to bottom border, otherwise the print is excellent. Small scratch on the glass above top of castle. The gold outer sides of the frame have scuffs and scratches and variation in the gold colour. Mount very good. Frame back excellent.
