Framed Vintage B&W Print of a Drawing, Leeds-Liverpool Canal and Bridge nr Barrowford 1995
Small vintage black and white lithographic print of a drawing, mounted and framed. Ready to hang.
A canal with path and bridge, and trees. Titled 'The Leeds & Liverpool Canal North of Barrowford Locks'. The signature is a little illegible but looks like J. L. Hooke. Dated 1.11.95.
Art Style: Fine, delicate and naturalistic.
Frame Details: Muted blue board overlay mount. Wooden frame, very dark brown with gold colour inner edge. Non-reflective (fine stipple) glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes, with cord for hanging. The rear fittings are newer.
External size, including frame, approx 10 3/4 x 8 3/4 inches, 27.2cm x 22.2cm.
Size of visible print only (the mount aperture size) approx 6 8/10 x 5 4/10 inches, 17.2cm x 13.8cm.
Orientation: Upright.
Condition: Print excellent. Slight wear to frame edges. Rest of frame very good to excellent.
