Bayswater Turnpike from the East by Paul Sandby (1725- 1809). A semi-rural scene of a road with turnpike, gate and booth, with people and dogs. Now part of West London! Beautiful artwork.
Museum label on the back.
1990s print edition and frame. Printed in England.
Frame Details: Double board overlay mounts - cream colour top mount and dark blue inner edge mount. Wooden frame, orangey brown with natural dimples and markings, and gold colour inner edge. Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and taped edges, and metal tab for hanging.
External size, including frame, approx 9 1/2 x 7 6/10 inches, 24.4cm x 19.3cm.
Size of visible print only (the mount aperture size) approx 5 x 3 inches, 12.6cm x 7.5cm.
Orientation: Horizontal.
Condition: Print excellent. Very small scuffs/nicks to the wooden frame edges. Rest of frame very good to excellent.
