Beautiful rural landscape with people, cattle, sheep, horse, trees, small view of river with birds on the water, old town with fortress in the distance, hills and mountains, and sky with birds flying.
Publisher's label on back states 'River Landscape with Horses and Peasants, from a painting by A. Cuyp'. This print edition is a section (detail) from that artwork. Printed in England.
Dutch artist Aelbert Jacobszoon Cuyp or Cuijp (1620-1691).
Art Style: Dutch Golden Age, fine, traditional, classical, rustic.

Frame Details: Print mounted on black board. Moulded wooden frame edges, darkish warm brown with nice grain. Glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal tab for hanging. Some of the rear fittings are newer.

External size, including frame, approx 12 5/8 x 10 inches, 32cm x 25.4cm.
Size of print only, approx 9 2/10 x 6 1/4 inches, 23.2cm x 15.8cm.
Orientation: Horizontal.

Condition: Print excellent. Slight wear marks to wooden frame edges. Rest of frame very good to excellent.
