Vintage Alpine House Landscape Painting, Signed, c.1970s, Framed Size 18 x 14 ins

Subject / Artist:
A landscape, with trees, grass and foliage, a house, a small area of lake (or river) in the middle, mountains in the distance, and sky. Mid Century popular Impressionist style. Variety of paint application from fine strokes through to heavier, coarser strokes. Colours mostly greens, browns, blue and white.
Artist unknown. Signed with illegible signature to bottom right of painting.

Frame Details:
Moulded wooden frame, mid-brown with two fine grey lines, and white inner edges. No glass. Open back on frame with pinned and taped outer edges. Metal eyes with string for hanging.

Size:
External dimensions, including frame, approx 45.7cm x 35.5cm x 2.4cm, 18 x 14 x 7/8 inches.

Condition:
Top edge of painting has a fine ridge on the surface which is slightly paler too. Slight yellowing in parts. The rest of the painting is excellent though. Frame edges have minor signs of age and small marks, but mostly very good to excellent. Back of frame excellent.
