Vintage Anlaby Watercolour Painting on a Print by F T Cambridge, Hull East Yorkshire Village, Framed
Age of print/painting unknown. The frame is from circa 1970s-1980s.
Vintage watercolour painting on a print from an engraving, mounted and framed. Ready to hang. See condition notes.
A street scene with a shop-front, houses, a man and a bicycle on the pavement, trees to background and birds flying in the sky. Appears to be depicting an earlier age, possibly the early 20th century(?) as the road surface is quite rough, and there is an old fashioned street lamp and a single telegraph post, and no traffic or aerials etc. Printed signature F. T. Cambridge and title 'Anlaby', on the picture. Printed/painted on cartridge paper. According to my research the street is Wilson Street in Anlaby, East Yorkshire.
