Circa 1980s-1990s original miniature watercolour wash painting with pen outlines, on cartridge paper, mounted and framed. Ready to hang.

The Old Mill, Scunthorpe by Will Illingworth as labelled on back of frame, and artist's signature on the painting. An outdoor scene in North Lincolnshire of the mill and various outbuildings.
Art Style: Contemporary impressionist, delicate, rustic, folksy.

Frame Details:
Slate green board overlay mount. Wooden frame, warm mid-brown with reeded moulding to edges. Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal tab for hanging.

External size, including frame, approx 7 7/10 x 7 7/10 inches, 19.5cm x 19.5cm, square.
Size of visible painting only (the mount aperture) approx 3 1/2 x 3 inches, 8.9cm x 7.6cm, upright.

Condition Notes:
Painting excellent on the whole but there are a few very fine line marks in the sky that seem to be original (maybe pencil lines?) rather than extraneous. Slight wear to frame edges. Natural grain variation in the wood. Rest of frame excellent.
