Vintage Oil Painting, Rural Thatched Cottage by River or Lake, Framed, Unsigned, defects

Circa 1970s original oil painting, framed. Appears to be painted on canvas board. Ready to hang. See condition notes.

A thatched country house with a field and trees/bushes behind it, a garden and trees around the house, and the edge of a river or lake in the foreground. The walls of the house are a muted light blue colour. Rustic impressionist style.
Artist: Unknown. No detectable signature. There are some very small dark brush strokes on the bottom edge but we don't think it's a signature.

Frame Details:
Lovely chunky wooden frame with wide, deep moulding, coloured warm dark-ish brown with gold inner edges. No glass. Pinned and taped back edges. Metal fixing for hanging.

Size:
External dimensions, including frame, approx 14 3/8 x 12 3/8 x 1 1/2 inches, 36.5cm x 31.4cm x 3.8cm. Horizontal.

Condition Notes:
Fine vertical line in the paint down the right edge. Some small, pale spots and a tiny hardened particle in the sky, but the rest of the painting is excellent. The frame has rub marks on the top and side edges; a larger, patchy, uneven rub mark on the bottom edge; and various little scuffs, dimples and nicks in the wood around the frame edges. See pictures.
