Vintage Painting, Girl Pouring Milk & Kitten in Basket by S. Digance, Framed 17 3/4 x 13 3/4 ins

Circa 1980s original painting (depicting an earlier age), oil or acrylic on canvas board, framed, ready to hang.

A young girl in old fashioned clothing of the Victorian-Edwardian style, standing in a rustic kitchen pouring milk into a bowl, with a kitten in a basket on the floor. Signed S. Digance. Brushstrokes are mostly fine and smooth with a small amount of thicker and slightly raised strokes. Naive popular impressionist style.

Frame Details:
Chunky wooden frame edges, in warm darkish brown with with swirl pattern to mid-front and rope pattern beading to inner edges. Lovely frame! No glass. Tabbed and taped rear frame edges. Metal eyes, with cord for hanging. Some of the rear fittings are newer.

External size, including frame, approx 17 3/4 x 13 3/4 inches, 45.2cm x 35cm.
Size of visible artwork only (the front of frame aperture) approx 13 6/10 x 9 6/10 inches, 34.5cm x 24.5cm. Upright.
