Vintage Pastel Drawing Landscape 'From Walkington' (East Yorkshire) by George Hipson, Framed

Circa 1980s original pastel artwork drawing on slightly textured paper, mounted and framed, ready to hang.

A rural landscape with trees and bushes to foreground, fields and trees to mid and background, house in the distance, and horizon and sky. Impressionist style with a soft and gentle atmospheric quality. Not signed on the artwork itself. Labels on back of frame state artist's name George Hipson and address, and title of 'From Walkington'.

Frame Details:
Darkish green board overlay mount. Wooden frame edges, warm darkish brown with gold colour inner edge. Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes, with cord for hanging. Some of the fittings are newer.

External size, including frame, approx 12 5/8 x 10 7/10 inches, 32.2cm x 27cm.
Size of visible artwork only (the mount aperture size) approx 9 6/10 x 7 6/10 inches, 24.4cm x 19.3cm. Horizontal.

Condition Notes:
Artwork excellent. Frame excellent with minimal wear. Slight wear to rear labels.
