Vintage Watercolour Painting, Landscape Riverside Road, Signed, Framed Size 12 6/10 x 10 6/10 ins

From circa 1980s, estimated, original watercolour painting, mounted and framed. Ready to hang.

River or lake in a landscape. Hills, sky, two small boats, road with small houses. Painted on cartridge paper. Mostly in shades of warm brown. Artist signed but hard to read, looks like Stretto or Skelton?? Location unknown. Reminiscent of the Peak District, Lake District or Scotland.
Art Style: Impressionist, rustic, folksy, semi-naive.

Frame Details:
Dark grey board overlay mount. Narrow wooden frame, warm brown with gold colour inner edges. Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes, with cord for hanging. Some of the rear fittings are newer.

Size:
External dimensions including frame, approx 12 6/10 x 10 6/10 inches, 32cm x 27cm.
Size of visible painting only (the mount aperture), approx 10 4/10 x 7 7/10 inches, 26.5cm x 19.5cm.
Horizontal.

Condition: Painting has a soft crease line to bottom left, and a small stain in the sky, otherwise very good. Slight wear to frame edges. Rest of frame excellent.
