Miss Murray, 1826, by Thomas Lawrence (1769-1830), as labelled on the back of the frame. Classic late Georgian portrait of a girl in a white dress and black bonnet with flowers, standing in a crossed leg pose, perhaps dancing or curtsying, and holding flowers in a raised outer layer of her dress. Some flowers on the floor next to her.
Frame Details:
Beautiful, chunky moulded wooden frame with a nice weight to it, in brown with swirl pattern to mid-front, and gold inner edge. Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes with string for hanging. Some of the rear fittings are newer.

External size including frame, approx 15 x 12 x 1 1/4 inches, 38cm x 30.5cm x 3.2cm. Upright.
Condition Notes:
Print excellent on the whole, with a couple of very small soft kink marks in the paper surface which become visible when angled in the light. Glass and frame back excellent. Frame edges have slight wear, and some shallow abrasion marks to the external side corners. Lovely presentation.
