A street scene with people, horse and carts, a tree, a tavern and buildings. Printed signature to corner of print. Labelled on the back states 'The Fountain Tavern, Penzance, Stanhope A. Forbes (1857-1947)', along with a publisher's label. Printed in England.
Art Style: Idyllic, atmospheric, semi-impressionist.

1980s print edition and frame.

Frame Details: Textured white board overlay mount with fine light blue border lines. Moulded wooden frame in dark brown with gold colour inner edges. Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and newly taped edges. Metal eyes, with cord for hanging.

External size, including frame, approx 13 7/10 x 11 7/10 inches, 34.7cm x 29.8cm.
Size of visible print only (the mount aperture size) approx 9 1/4 x 7 4/10 inches, 23.5cm x 18.8cm.
Orientation: Horizontal.

Condition: Print excellent. Slight wear to wooden frame edges, otherwise the frame is excellent.
