Circa 1980s original painting, oil or acrylic (undetermined), on stretched canvas, framed. Ready to hang.

A romantic rural landscape with river (or lakeside), trees, and a little cottage to the centre background, and sky. Contemporary-rustic-impressionist style. Lovely, gentle colours. Brushstrokes range from smooth and slightly textured, stippled, and coarser raised impasto. Signed B. Groneman in red.

Frame Details:
Moulded wooden frame edges finished in dark brown with gold colour inner edge. Open front (no glass) and back. Tabbed and stapled rear edges. Metal fixings and D rings, with wire for hanging.

External size, including frame, approx 18 x 14 inches, 45.7cm x 35.5cm. Horizontal.
Size of visible artwork only (the front of frame aperture) approx 15 7/10 x 11 7/10 inches, 39.8cm x 29.7cm. Horizontal.

Condition Notes:
Painting mostly excellent but with a few small spot marks/blemishes and small fine scuff lines. Mottled marks on rear of canvas. Slight wear to frame edges. Some very small, redundant staple holes in the wood on the back of the frame.
