Vintage Heddon Northumberland Pastel Drawing by Myrna Luff 1991, Frame Size 16 3/4 x 12 7/10 ins

1990s original colour pastel drawing, mounted and framed. Ready to hang.

A rural landscape with bare trees, foliage and grass, and a couple of small houses to the mid-ground behind the trees. Hazy sky to the distance in lovely shades of pale blue and pale pinky-peach. Drawing signed Myrna Luff '91. Printed label on back of frame states 'Close Lea, Heddon, Pastel, Myrna Luff 386' along with a printed address label, and also a hand-written name of Julian R. Wilson 1991, possibly a previous owner? Heddon is Heddon on the Wall in the Newcastle area of Northumberland.
Art Style: Fine, atmospheric, rustic, idyllic, impressionist.

Frame Details:
Textured off-white board overlay mount with hand-drawn lines around the aperture. Narrow wooden frame, dark brown with pale gold colour inner edges. Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal D ring fixings, with cord for hanging.

External size, including frame, approx 16 3/4 x 12 7/10 inches, 42.5cm x 32.2cm.
Size of visible artwork only (the mount aperture) approx 14 1/10 x 9 9/10 inches, 35.8cm x 25.2cm. Horizontal.

Condition:
Drawing excellent. Slight wear to frame edges. Rest of frame excellent. Some age/wear to the label and writing on back of frame.
