Circa 1980s original painting, mounted and framed, ready to hang. Oil or acrylic (undetermined) on fine texture canvas material, not stretched.

A rustic country scene of little buildings or cottages, one with a waterwheel, nestled amongst trees next to a river. Nice colours of rich greens and browns mostly. Signed 'Wallace'.

Frame Details:
Slate green board overlay mount. Nice wooden frame, brown with grained gold inner edge. Angled/bevelled outer sides, and curved/recessed inner edges. Glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes with cord for hanging. The rear fittings are newer.

External dimensions, including frame, approx 15 1/10 x 13 1/10 x 1 2/10 inches, 38.2cm x 33.2cm x 3cm.
Size of visible painting only (the mount aperture) approx 11 1/2 x 9 4/10 inches, 29.2cm x 23.9cm.
Horizontal.

Condition Notes:
Painting very good to excellent on the whole with a few minute dot marks and a small canvas ridge in the sky. Gold edging on the frame has scuff lines and spots of wear. Rest of frame excellent.
