Antique 'Dickens Days' Pottery Vase (Trophy Urn Shape) Horse & Carriage Decor, Red, Age/Wear Defects
Made in circa early 20th century (estimated).
Antique pottery vase or ornament, trophy urn shape (no lid) with side handles.
Red exterior with grey edging lines, and central band repeating pattern of horses and carriage and a country house, with small title "Dicken's Days". Warm white interior and underneath. Semi-matte glaze to exterior and normal glaze to interior and underneath. No backstamp or maker's mark.
Condition: Various spots of wear, marks, scuff marks and stray dots of colour. Variance and mottling in the red colour. Crazing to all areas, especially inside and underneath.
Recommended for use as a decorative ornament, but if using as a vase or planter, we recommend using an interior liner or interior pot (not supplied).
External height about 6 3/4 inches, 17.2cm.
Maximum width including side handles about 8 inches, 20.3cm.
Internal diameter of top opening about 4 3/8 inches, 11cm.
