Circa 1950s pottery dish.
Off-white colour with central colour illustration of a boy sitting on a little footbridge, fishing in the stream below. Charming design.
Overall square-ish shape dish with curved edges, curving in and down at the centre of each side, and curving out and up to a gentle point at each corner. Integral pottery handle to two sides. Gold colour to edges and handles. Backstamp underneath. Made by Sevelen Rheintal Suisse.
Recommended for use as a decorative ornament.
Maximum external width, including handles, approx 20.3cm, 8 inches.
External height, from bottom of dish to top of handle, about 3cm, 1 1/8 inches.
Condition: Slight wear to the gold colour edges and illustration. Tiny scuff marks in the glaze. Overall, in very good condition.
