Vintage Royal Doulton 'Moritz' Bowl with Handles and Lid, 1930s Art Deco Pottery

Circular bowl shape with two semi-circular flat handles on the bowl, with an upright quarter-circle support under each handle. Domed lid with two steps on the top and knob handle.
General colour is cream, with stylised floral motif on lid and bowl sides in colours of red, yellow and orange, with green leaves and stems. Thin red and yellow lines on the knob and on the dome lid. Red thin line around the top of the bowl. Yellow colour to outer edge of the flat handles. Red and yellow thin lines around the side of the bowl.
Backstamp on the bottom of the bowl.

Dating from circa late 1930s, made by Royal Doulton pottery of England. Pattern name 'Moritz'.

Recommended for use as a decorative ornament.

Condition: Crazing to most areas, more pronounced on the lid and around the exterior sides of the bowl. Inside the bowl is very clean with only a small amount of light crazing and a couple of dot marks. The underneath edge of the lid has a very small nibble chip, some slight discolouration marks and a few minute 'fleabite' dimples in the pottery. Small red dot mark underneath the lid. A few very small speck marks on the exterior top of the lid. The exterior sides of the bowl have some faint blemishes. General discolouration to the underneath rim which the bowl stands on. The patterns are mostly excellent with minimal wear.

Maximum external height, including lid/handle, about 14cm, 5 1/2 inches.
Internal diameter of top opening of bowl about 17.8cm, 7 inches.
Maximum external diameter of bowl, including side handles, about 25.9cm, 10 2/10 inches.
External height of bowl only, without lid on, about 7.4cm, 2 9/10 inches.
