Antique Theatre Advert, 'Body & Soul' Actress Viola Tree as Lady Mab Infold 1922, in Vintage Frame

Picture depicting a full length portrait of actress Miss Viola Tree in a beautiful gown, as the character of Lady Mab Infold in the play 'Body and Soul' at the Regent Theatre, London. The picture colours are muted soft tonal greys with soft pinks and pinky-greys on the gown.
Small border around the portrait with printed caption along the bottom border.

Published October 11 1922 in 'The Sketch', as labelled on the back of the frame, along with a descriptive label.

Frame Details: Textured khaki colour board overlay mount. Moulded wooden frame with dark brown finish. Glass to front. Board back on frame with newly tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes with cord for hanging.

External size, including frame, approx 14 x 12 inches, 35.5cm x 30.5cm.
Size of visible print only (the mount aperture size) approx 10 x 7 9/10 inches, 25.4cm x 20cm.
Orientation: Upright.

Condition: Advert is excellent for its age. The wooden frame edges have small marks and little pit marks, and one external side of the frame has a small scratch and abrasion in the wood (cannot be seen from the front). Rest of frame is very good.
