Mountainous Scottish landscape with narrow roadway. Sky with clouds. Nice colours. Naive-impressionist style.
'J. S.' signed on picture. Signed 'The Quirang, Isle of Skye, J. Staveley 1986' on back of frame.

Frame Details:
Brown board overlay mount. Moulded wooden frame in warm darkish brown. Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes with new cord for hanging.

Size:
External dimensions, including frame, approx 13 3/4 x 12 5/8 inches, 35cm x 32cm. Size of visible artwork (the mount aperture) 10 x 8 7/10 inches, 25.3cm x 22.2cm. Horizontal.

Condition: Minimal wear to frame and a few tiny particles under the glass. On the artwork itself, the underlying textured paper surface shows through in parts, otherwise very good and a lovely picture.
