Vintage 1950s Pottery Wall Pocket, Bonnet Hat Shape, Cream Beige & Pale Green
Vintage pottery wall pocket, circa 1950s.
Bonnet hat shape, upright orientation, with moulded bow shape around the lower area.
Cream colour with mottled pale beige pattern. The 'bow' is pale green and cream.
Narrow and curved opening at the top.
Hole, for hanging, on the back.
Impressed backstamp 'H.1.', and an extremely faint impressed backstamp 'England' but only partly visible at certain angles.
Semi-matte finish with a soft sheen glaze, not a shiny glaze.
Maximum external dimensions, including bow, 17.5cm x 13.6cm x 7cm approx.
Internal size of top opening, at maximum points, 10.5cm x about 3.4cm.
Condition: Crazing to all areas. No cracks or chips. Small blemish inside the pocket. Visible kiln spur nodules on the back. Some small fine indentation lines on the back, some of which look like numbers and others look like random dimple/line marks, but they are from manufacture.
Recommended for use as a decorative ornament.
