Circa 1960s edition Adams-Wedgwood decorative ironstone pottery plate.

Colour illustration to top of a Georgian street market trader, a woman, children and a dog, and titled 'Cries of London, Hot Spice Gingerbread Smoking Hot, Du Croquet de Pain d'Epices'.

Fancy patterns to edge of plate in colours of green, brown and black.
Base colour of the plate is cream.
Circular plate with slightly wavy rim. Backstamp underneath.

Diameter 26.2cm, 10 3/10 inches.

Condition: Crazing to top of plate in varying amounts, and small dimples and dots in the glaze. Small pale mark on the outer edge pattern. Significant crazing to the underneath of the plate, where most of the crazing is in long lines.
Recommended for use as a decorative ornament.
