Antique warm tonal black and white print from an engraving, mounted and framed (vintage). Ready to hang.

Labelled on back of frame 'Queen Isabella and Her Ladies (King Richard II) by George Henry Boughton (1833-1905). Engraving by Thomas Sherratt (b. 1812). Published by Virtue & Co., London'. Artwork depiction from Shakespeare's play of the Queen sitting on a stone bench in a garden, with two ladies standing beside her as if speaking to her. Trees and flowers around. Exquisite quality!
Art Style: Fine, historical, dramatic, royal, Shakespearean.

Frame Details:
Black board overlay mount. Moulded wooden frame, reddish brown with gold colour inner edges. Glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal tab for hanging. The rear fittings are newer.

External size, including frame, approx 13 3/10 x 11 4/10 inches, 33.8cm x 29cm.
Size of visible print only (the mount aperture) approx 9 3/10 x 6 8/10 inches, 23.7cm x 17.3cm.
Horizontal.

Condition Notes:
Print excellent. Very minor wear and a couple of tiny pit marks to frame edges, otherwise frame excellent.
